India was reeling under the effect of the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, and there was a huge demand for oxygen in all hospitals. Sevalaya had started relief work quite early into the pandemic.

Ankitara Foundation found their COVID-19 relief work so impressive that a donation donated towards purchase of oxygen concentrators and cylinders.

On June 17, 2021, 6 Oxygen Concentrators were handed over to Dr R Jesvin, Superintendent, and Dr S Agathiyan, Physician, Government General Hospital, Tenkasi, by Sankili Boothathan, Project Coordinator, Ravanasamudram, Tenkasi District, Sevalaya.  6 oxygen cylinders are used for the oxygen on wheels programme in Sevalaya ambulances.
