Samarthanam, founded in 1997, is a non-profit organization providing education, accommodation, food, vocational training and placement based rehabilitation. It is headquartered in Bangalore, India with centres across India.  

Samarthanam facilitates free education at Primary and High School levels and also offers support for college education. Samarthanam’s Special School offers education to children with intellectual disabilities. 

 

Samarthanam Livelihood Resource Centres impart livelihood training to youth with disabilities and the underprivileged, enhancing their skill-sets and paving way for a sustainable livelihood and economic independence.

To ensure holistic development of the students, Samarthanam facilitates free tuition, accommodation, study support, extracurricular activities, accessible infrastructure, study material in digital format, and more.
